Redemption Rock Brewery Edelstein Hefeweizen
Edelstein Hefeweizen: 5.0 – Decided to try out another new and super local brewery to the site (sorry literally everyone not in the North East) You aren’t missing out on much though, because this beer is decidedly serviceable. It’s not outright bad, it’s easy enough to drink, and it has a bit of spice, but fails to impress.

Bowmore Islay 12 Yr. Single Malt Scotch Whisky 750mL
At this point, we’re fairly familiar with Bowmore. However we’ve sort of been going about it in reverse having started with the 17 year, and then near 6 years later (yikes), we did the 15 year. We’ve opted this time to go with the 12 year. We can therefore finally form a verdict on which Bowmore you should buy, and what (if anything) does time do?
Hofbrauhaus Dunkel
Hofbrauhaus Dunkel: 4.0 – It’s a bit darker in both look and taste than you would typically expect for a dunkel. Beyond that though there’s not much else of note about this, and it’s overall just mediocre.

El Tesoro Reposado Tequila 750mL
Tesoro means someone kind or charming, which feels slightly odd for a volcanic guided tequila. Overall we have little complaints about El Tesoro as anything that can make a damn good margarita and not break the bank is a worthy tequila to have. The best part here though is that unlike many other tequilas from last year, this isn’t a sugary mess.
Smuttynose Brewing Co. Shoals Pale Ale
Shoals Pale Ale: 6.0 – It is a darker and nutty pale ale and has more of a lager feel. Not a complaint who doesnt love a tasty lager, but it ain’t what you would expect asking for a pale ale. Leave it to Smutty to make something nutty though.

Oskar Blues Brewery Mama’s Little Yella Pils
Mama’s Little Yella Pils: 4.0 – We’re not sure if it’s the design, the name, or the piss color – but this looks like cheap garbage beer even more than the actual beers we know are trash. This is fairly cheap though, no real issues – just subpar and a bit too hopped.

Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum 750mL
We have a confession to make. It’s that despite running for near on 6+ years – we are reviewing this – in 2019. It’s sad, it’s profane, and a bit weird. However, despite mentioning it, despite reviewing multiple versions of the rum (even a special pumpkin version) – we haven’t actually reviewed the original – the basic Captain Morgan.
