Well they can’t all be winners. Darn once again in an effort to express honest opinions we’ve given the review away. Yes folks this is a tequila that I thankfully picked up a small bottle for while it was cheap in New Hampshire, because quite frankly if I paid a full price for this I would be nothing short of enraged.
Which is telling considering how low this actually did in many respects. It’s not often I say this, but I could actually feel the headache coming on while I drank this during the course of the review – and again this isn’t something I’ve getting half a bottle deep into. I’ve been told this is somehow involved with George Clooney, and either he shouldn’t be meddling in things, or people should maybe spend money on making better tequila before paying celebrities.
What they Say: “The Reposado, aged for 7 months, is soft, slightly oaky with hints of caramel and cocoa. It has a silky texture with a medium to long smooth finish.
AGED: 7 months in premium American white oak barrels.”
Taste: 4.5 – It’s quite a delicious taste at first.
Aftertaste: 2.0 – But it ends terribly, and is one of the worst tequils’s I’ve had.
Burn/Smooth: 3.0 – There’s a burn and lack of smoothness – this isn’t something you drink with a straight face.
Aroma: 4.5 – It’s a really good sweet agave smell. But there’s a twinge of unpleasantness.
Honesty: 3.0 – Yeah this does not have hints of anything or a texture that evokes the image of silk, and like we’ve said – liars are our sworn enemy.
Mixability: 3.5
Tequila and Lime: 4.0 – Fine I suppose, mostly because the lime supplants that aftertaste.
Tequila Sunrise: 3.0 – Nope it seems oj and grenadine are not powerful enough to stop that aftertaste.
Value: 1.0 – Quite frankly that is shit value.

Final Thoughts: This is awful, and even though it’s my job to review the good and the bad – I wish I had looked this up and see if someone out there was willing to call bullshit. If not,m consider this the canary in the coal mine – don’t buy this, don’t order this – if anything feel confident to say no thank you sir.
