Karbach Weekend Warrior: 6.0 – It’s a nice good pale ale, but aside from some well done balance of hops – it lacks a more distinictive taste and/or flavor.

Samuel Adams Cold Snap: 6.0 – While this is not a great beer, this is good at the thing we mostly like about Sam Adams in that it’s the perfect beer to have the end of a long day.

Part of a 2 week – what does a $10 dollar bill get me review set – the answer as unfortunately common is not magic or art in a bottle, but bitter, bitter disappointment.
Dos Equis XX Special Lager: 4.0 – They may have the most interesting man as a spokesman, but their beer is another boring entry clogging up my draft list. I know this for a fact because this was literally the only option I had that wasn’t light beer.

Redbridge: 2.0 – This is what Anheuser-Busch thinks a hipster beer should be which is funny since it’s not an IPA. It however does not taste like beer, and if this whole Gluten-Free Sorghum nonsense is supposed to make me think – oh this is healthy for me and is a good alternative to beer – you know what’s a better alternative? Drinking your own piss.

Well then folks continuing our recent trend of “Buffalo reviewing more clear spirits because for a long time this was scotch and bourbon reviews” it’s time for another vodka. I’ve decided to get something a bit more pricey and imported in the hopes that it would be spectacular. But as you can likely tell by my tone, that was not the case.
I’m in Texas this week, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have wine in my ‘cellar’. Not that these are really great, but hey – that’s why I review new things right?
Worker’s Comp Saison: 3.5 – Just not a great saison. Weak in terms of a good flavor or power, and it’s overall just very bland. I’d be ashamed more of my home state of Connecticut, but well – there’s a reason I don’t live there.
Google Shop Average: Worker’s Comp Saison $4

It’s Wednesday which means it’s time for another bear review – this time a little more in-depth than previous weeks. Today’s bear is the Kodiak – a truly majestic creature. Not to be confused with the more common brown bear – Kodiak bears are the second largest bear species (second only to polar bears) and only like on the Kodiak Archipelago islands off of Alaska.
