As promised here we have some irish whiskey’s mostly due to a sampler pack I bought, but I figured I should get something else, and this one came with a nice flask. While I am fine with everything but the actual taste I don’t think this is the irish whiskey I would ever want or need.
Charles Henri Amber Ale
Charles Henri Amber Ale: 5.0 – While it is not a run-of-the-mill amber the beer has it’s fair share of pros and cons in taste that ultimately make it not worth my time or yours.
Google Shop Average: Charles Henri Amber Ale $6
White Birch Small Batch Ale – Oaked Wee Heavy
Oaked Wee Heavy: 5.5 – I have a suspicion that someone at White Birch is having a laugh by calling this a wee heavy. They previously had a scottish style as an apprentice series and as part of their small batch we get another kind. I say this because this beer can be best classified as a nap.
Google Shop Average: Oaked Wee Heavy $8

Spud Potato Vodka 750mL
Not gonna lie folks but the next few weeks are just vodka’s and whiskies from Scotland and Ireland. All summer was more interesting and seasonal things, but it’s back to doing what we likely do a bit too much of. By which I mean trying to take those large walls of vodka from your local store and tell you why 85% of it should be flat out avoided. Hey speaking of.
Wychcraft Blonde Ale
Wychcraft Blonde Ale: 5.0 – I was saving this beer for Halloween but instead of being spooky it was a slightly sour but normal blonde ale.
Google Shop Average: Wychcraft Blonde Ale $00

Ommegang Tripel Perfection
Ommegang Tripel Perfection: 7.0 – It’s not perfect despite the naming, and for some reason I’m slightly perturbed that it’s not 3 arrows on the target instead of 2. Anyway the beer itself is a fantastic golden tripel and well worth the buy.
Google Shop Average: Ommegang Tripel Perfection $15

Old Weller Antique Original 107 Brand Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 750mL
Alright time for some whiskey, and this time we go for some good ol’ southern bourbon instead of scotch. While Islay may pack a punch, this packs a whole whollup. Normally I ignore a bourbon set at a higher proof as being anything more than a bit boozy, but this is so hot Chris Tucker is reprising his role from Fifth Element.
