Swift & Changeable: 7.5 – Not perfect, but a very well executed saison. There isn’t a bad mark or thing to say about it really.

If you asked us why a noted Ghostbuster would join forces with someone to make vodka in the form of Crystal Skull – we wouldn’t have an answer for you. (Maybe because it’s spooky?) We also wouldn’t have an answer for you about why this vodka is just not good, and how starting from the visage of a skull it keeps getting worse and worse.
Victory At Sea Porter: 3.5 – Sure is an imperial porter. Yes it has coffee and vanilla. While it has complexity and intrigue it’s just sweet and bitter in all the wrong ways and not great to drink.

Sourdough Wild Ale: 6.0 – This is light and nice because of the rye aspects. However when you start adding that sourdough component it simply adds a bunch of ‘bread’ to this which causes it to falter.

One of the main benefits of moving whiskey to every other Wednesday is the ability to review more brandies and cognacs as we integrate them more into the site’s lexicon. The cognac we have here is as such a fine addition with some good and some bad points, and some grapey points?
Farm to Face: 7.5 – About as basic as you can get. This is simply a standard sour ale, but then packed with peaches. While that may just it, it’s well executed and frankly delicious. If you wanted a sour w/ peaches (and you should) boom – here you go.

We almost considered not doing this as a traditional whiskey due to the coffee’s effect. However aside from their clear spirit, this is their main aged bourbon, and their choice of a barrel (much like a sherry cask) will simply be an artifact of our review against them. That review sadly is poor.
Seafarers English Ale: 4.5 – While its does evoke the taste of a beer you’d expect on a British sea voyage that’s not a compliment, and it’s overall it’s about as enjoyable as a plank of wood.
