Norway Brewing Co. Berliner Weisse
Berliner Weisse: 5.0 – It almost feels like it’s flat or a bit soured. Overall it just doesn’t stand out, and is neither here nor there in terms of enjoyment and flavor.
Price Average: $6 draft

Earth Eagle R&R Hefeweizen
R&R Hefeweizen: 6.0 – The wheat aspects here are the shining point. That being said there’s that metallic like taste and overall easy to drink, but not easy to flavor.
Price Average: $11 for 4-pack

V One Vodka 750mL
If we were a cynical lot we’d say that this vodka represents the dark side of supposed family owned or built empires as this is merely a shadow – a homage to a grandparent with no real prominence. We aren’t though because in truth we don’t care about old families or recipes anyway (unless it’s you know – good). What does gall our stones though is the sadness of a local boy who’s just awful at making vodka.
Norway Brewing Co. Left Turn Pale Ale
Left Turn Pale Ale: 6.0 – That’s good for not a single reason, there’s a good mix of hops, cream, and richness of flavors. Make no mistake this is probably one of the better pale ales you can buy.
Price Average: $6 draft

Glen Scotia Campbeltown ‘1832’ Single Malt Scotch Whisky 1L
Once again a victory scotch from the duty-free store graces our doors. (It’s a victory because getting back home at 1 am after 14 hours of travel needs a drink). We have a special ‘town & year’ version of Glen Scotia, and sadly we don’t have a baseline with their malt to compare against as what we find here was less of a victory, and more of a loss at the end of a long day.
Earth Eagle Green Blues Golden Gruit
Green Blues Golden Gruit: 5.5 – It’s not like a typical blueberry beer where the blueberry is either not there or dominant. The unripened aspect of the green blueberries gives it a more plant like lettuce flavor or a bit of banana. This too like the other gruit from EE would be hard to do an full pint for most.

Cenote Reposado Tequila 750mL
This tequila looks expensive, and no surprise – it is. You could, therefore, extrapolate that it would be of a high bar of quality to justify that price. However, this is HBR and we know that means squat most of the time. This – is one of those times.
