This is a pretty mellow looking reposado, but despite the sweetness or the rabbit on the cover, this is not a mellow and soft tequila. That being said the main issue here is that because it’s just overall an average tequila at a much much too high cost – it becomes bad.
Add that to the deception of a rabbit with the burn of a wolf we must mention the elephant in the room. You can be a bad or average tequila – what you can’t be is average, and then not good mixed. If you are not good neat or in cocktails and are charging a premium price we will rake you over the coals like a nice spit-roasted bunny.

Taste: 5.0 – There’s a major brush of tequila, but the sweetness carries on and goes even further.
Aftertaste: 6.0 – You get more of the agave and a sweetness that almost reminds one of maple sytrup.
Burn/Smooth: 4.0 – Yes that burns like a tequila should. You really need to be ready and waiting for it.
Aroma: 5.0 – While it smells like any old reposado, it’s a reposado that’s not awful which by virtue merely makes it average.
Honesty: 7.0 – They talk a lot about luck, and it serves them well not pontificating about themselves. Overall despite the rabbit, they do quite well here
Mixability: 5.0
Tequila Sunrise: 5.0 – It’s just an okay sunrise.
Margarita: 5.0 – Again it’s okay.
Value: 2.0 – That is premium tequila territory, and the product in no way matches with that price.

Final Thoughts: This is the worst about running this site – finding all those spirits that because of their cost and contents are simply not worth existing on the shelves – and knowing people are buying them clearly. Hopefully, that’s the one nice by-product of our site is you all can learn from our mistakes.
