Farm to Face: 7.5 – About as basic as you can get. This is simply a standard sour ale, but then packed with peaches. While that may just it, it’s well executed and frankly delicious. If you wanted a sour w/ peaches (and you should) boom – here you go.

Pictavia Scotch Ale: 7.5 – A very very well done scotch ale, another great hit from Allagash. This is certainly what you want from a scotch ale, and the barrel aging from the scotch barrel hasn’t turned it cloyingly sweet like some bourbon barrels do. The problem here is that you kind of wish it was more. It’s a solid scotch ale of course, but it’s missing that tiny bit it needs to push it over the edge.

Night Owl: 3.0 – This tastes like a vegetable and while surely there might be someone who likes that its really not a great overall beer to drink.

Abbey Dubbel Ale: 6.0 – It’s a nice & meaty dubbel and being the first beer made from Ommegang it’s no surprise how they’re style has been there all along, and only gotten better with every new brew.

Left Turn Pale Ale: 6.0 – That’s good for not a single reason, there’s a good mix of hops, cream, and richness of flavors. Make no mistake this is probably one of the better pale ales you can buy.

Mild Joe: 6.0 – It’s a coffee style ale, but the black coffee like flavor is too much. And there’s no real cream or roasted elements as much with a more traditional coffee flavoring.

Old Man Ale: 5.0 – It is really in line with the name the brewing company gave it. Although they might as well have called it ‘Do Nothing Ale’ as it really doesn’t do much of anything. The flavour and beer are there, albeit briefly, and there are no horror stories. If it wasn’t so generic a beer we’d nearly be offended.

Cream Ale: 6.5 – It’s light and hoppy but that cream style really is what makes this special even if that’s just a classic style.

Oberon: 6.0 – They say spicy hops and fruit,but here’s the real story. They threw gushers into this beer. It’s really like a nice wheat beer with that as aftertaste.

Tangerine Quad: 2.0 – There is something that you won’t notice on this at first glance. Now the idea of a Quad with Tangerine’s – sign us up. (We already subscribed by the fact that we bought this). However you may notice the small words ‘aged in bourbon barrels’ and inferred by the score that they did not in fact pull that off. There doesn’t seem to be a reason why this was aged, but it turns it into nonsense.
