We’ve actually now gotten close to the whole line for the local Bully Boy, and based on the past with both vodka, and white whiskey it’s time for a conclusion and a confession. They simply suck at making anything, and unless they give some time in a cask – don’t buy Bully Boy.

Bully Boy White Whiskey 750mL
Continuing our whiskey coverage this time we break into something new that we’ve tried before, and are now comfortable in reviewing. Moonshine or white whiskey is quite simply all whiskey before it’s been thrown into some burnt wood for a few months or years. This is also our third time looking at Bully Boy, this time instead of the aged whiskey, or the clear vodka spirit we have gone for the middle of the two with the unaged white whiskey. It has more of the wheat that you would want in the whiskey, but has some parallels to the cream of the vodka.
Bully Boy Vodka 750mL
Well we’ve tried the Bully Boy Whiskey before, but in keeping with the current ‘tradition’ of small batch distillers making every kind of spirit in efforts to take over your bar – we have a vodka. In fairness their aged whiskey is quite okay overall if not a little more preachy and overpriced than this – but it’s also a lot more mellow.
Bully Boy Aged Whiskey 750mL
I actually tried this a while back at Armsby Abbey (local bar in Worcester that’s just awesome, if just a little pretentious). I had seen Bully Boy as a fairly new release in a few places, but figured I’d get a taste before randomly buying it.
