The last time we had a vodka from Holland it was well – not well received. This was most likely because it was gimmicky, it tasted and smelled awful, it was over-priced, and it was the definition of Eurotrash. The good news I bring today as a close to this year is that Dutchcraft is awesome. (But is not Minecraft)

Berkshire Brewing Company Holidale
Berkshire Brewing Company Holidale: 7.0 – The barleywine style makes this as rich as a porter without the middling flavor that most atypical porters have. It’s the kind of beer I can see myself drinking on Christmas eve watching the football game. Which is mostly likely what I am currently doing.
Google Shop Average: Berkshire Brewing Company Holidale $6
1792 Ridgemount Reserve Barrel Select Bourbon Whiskey 750mL
I decided for Christmas time I should get a nice bourbon to round out my usual fare. I’d seen 1792 around, but it wasn’t at some of the whiskey tastings I’ve visited. I will add though that I was not disappointed in my choice.
Lost Abbey Devotion Ale
Lost Abbey Devotion Ale: 6.0 – It’s hoppy but it’s not a sharp hoppy taste, and I quite like it. Compared to what I see other beers of theirs going for, this is well worth it.
Google Shop Average: Lost Abbey Devotion Ale $9

Abita Amber Lager
Abita Amber Lager: 3.0 – This is one of the most tasteless beers I’ve ever had, it’s not bad – but I get more taste from bud light.
Google Shop Average: Abita Amber Lager $9 for 6-pack

Sheepdip Blended Malt Scotch 750mL
So there I was, in a New Hampshire liquor store. I was stocking up on so many things (I love you Ezra Brooks), but sadly the store I was at was smaller, and had almost nothing for a scotch selection. Worse what was there were things I’d already had/reviewed. There was something that stood out, that I had not seen before.
