Idle Hands Proème Dry-Hopped American Farmhouse Ale
Proème: 5.0 – So you’re in a bar waiting on some food and you order a beer. It takes the bartender about 15 minutes to do this with no less than 4 stops between as they explain, sorry it’s just like this. So the head is an issue. As for the beer itself, there’s not a majro flavor going on, nor is any aspect executed perfectly. It is aside from a long wait time an average farmhouse saison.

Dewar’s 12 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky 750mL
When one thinks of Dewar’s one often thinks of the more popular and widespread White Label. Instead of this one which has a label that’s wait. The White Label is a budget scotch, that frankly fails to compete with the likes of Johnnie Walker Red or Famous Grouse, but what if you actually give every whiskey the time to do its work.
Modern Times Fruitlands Apricot Sour Gose
Fruitlands Apricot Sour: 5.5 – It’s not really a big sour if we’re being fair. Oh sure it’s nice. You do get some of that fruit there, but overall it’s more a slightly odd but easy drinking ale that a real gose.
Price Average: $10 for 4-pack

El Charro Reposado Tequila 750mL
This tequila was absconded from a wedding alongside a bottle of Campari that is 100%, not Campari as it’s not red and smells like death. Okay, it was a gift, but ‘absconded from a wedding’ is our new album name. The tequila itself was thankfully not a disaster to review, and in some respects is well-liked.
Breckenridge Brewery White Ale
Breckenridge Brewery White Ale: 5.5 – Having this in the summer feels wrong, because it feels less like a Belgian white, and more like a Christmas white ale. It’s got sweetness on the tongue and is smooth in odd ways, add the bit of spices and it truly feels like a Christmas in July scenario. Given that though it’s not bad by any means.
Price Average: $9 for 6-pack

Black Hog Brewing Granola Brown Ale
Granola Brown Ale: 5.5 – It has this sort of porter roasted like twist to which is to say roasted granola (although that flavor isn’t outright hitting you over the head). Aside from the mild twist though it is a perfectly fine and serviceable brown ale.
Price Average: $3 12oz can

Prairie Farm Crafted Organic Gin 750mL
It is a bit hard to rationalize disliking when people put the words ‘farm crafted’ and ‘organic’ on something we review when we ourselves are the brand of hipster that hates some new burger joint charging 19 for their creation yet still visits a farmer’s market every week because it’s between the butcher and weed store and potatoes are required for a meal this week. In short, we don’t buy into this malarkey, but we at least respect it well enough.
