Yes, that is Zack with a k, not an h. Now we bought this because Chelmsford, MA is unique, and because we are still staunch fans of the Ezra Brooks – as what looks like a knockoff is 10 times the original. However, we have to contend with the other side of the spectrum and whether this is really more like an Evan Williams.
Two Brothers Domaine Dupage French Country Ale
Domaine Dupage: 6.0 – It’s not really a sort of highly spiced sort of beer, really more like some toasted carmel mixed with hops. The result is actually kinda nice, and makes for a great fall sort of beer that isn’t going to be a more complex fest beer.

Bumbu The Original Rum 750mL
It’s a sweet sugary mess. Sorry, but there’s no need or cause for pretext here, this is a bad rum. It’s barely okay as some craft liqueur meant to be used with bitters and other spirits. We understand that fermentation occurs because the yeast eats sugar, and is then distilled – but this needs about 100 more years to eat through.
Maine Beer Company ‘A Tiny Beautiful Something’ Pale Ale
A Tiny Beautiful Something: 6.0 – It was slightly worrying given Maine brewing companies proclivity for hoppier beers. However while this is as usual for them on the hoppier side for a pale ale it’s not a step too far, but is close to an APA. Given that it’s a mostly standard and forgettable beer.

To Øl 1 Ton of… Pineapple Sour Mashed Ale
To Øl 1 Ton of… Pineapple: 5.0 – Yeah, that’s a bunch on pineapple dude. You can smell the damn thing going in and having a sip while it’s not the sweet canned pinappleyou get from your fruit snacks or a ham, it’s very much like a pineapple juice w/o a lot of sugar. It’s honestly a bit too much to truly enjoy drinking (unless you into that), but does intrigue us for cooking purposes.

Elit Ultra Luxury Vodka 750mL
We don’t care much for important footnotes – so this is basically an upgraded Stoli. Now we have reviewed Stoli before and the results – well they weren’t good. This is – well it is better, but at what cost?
Winter Hill Brewing ‘Russian Ending’ Imperial Stout
Russian Ending: 4.5 – A bit too malty it tastes more flat carbonation wise but that malty flavor is as powerful as the roasted hops you want for a stout. It’s on the lower side for imperial, but it’s not noticeable either. Overall it’s not stellar drinking, but does disappate in flavor rather quickly.

Knob Creek Kentucky Straight Bourbon Small-Batch 100 Proof Whiskey 750mL
Knob Creek has been a common sight in stores and bars, but it’s never graced our site – until now. The verdict? Well, it’s another whiskey suffering from the 100 proof count, and the sweet bourbon flavors does little to help. We do personally know the rye as an okay Old Fashioned, but we’re in bourbon county now.
