Hoegaarden Wit Blanche (White Ale)
Hoegaarden: 5.5 – You know that I a pretty on par White Ale, I’ve always avoided this because of the company it often keeps – but now I know if I’m stranded in some god forsaken bar filled with Bud and Miller – I can likely get a serviceable White Ale.

Jack’s Abby Maibock Hurts Like Helles
Maibock Hurts Like Helles: 5.0 – That’s an okay, nice tasting, and sweet tasting beer. However while it’s price is good here for the bottle – I have had this before on draft and it’s near 2 points better.
Price Average: Maibock Hurts Like Helles $5

Hacienda Vieja Tequila Blanco 750mL
So this was recently at a wine tasting at my local shop, and I was surprised by how clean it tasted that I decided to buy it at the sale price it was for. The Buffalo Lounge has a lot of transient spirits, but only a select few get bought again and again to fill decanters, or be used as infusers. This however is a high contender for replacing my standard silver tequila.
Grolsch Lager
Grolsch Lager: 6.0 – It has a nice spice to it, and it’s extremely drinkable. Also and I realize this is biased, but the container makes it easy for reuse. Overall though a pretty good beer to be Netherlands outing on this poster.

Kulmbacher Monchshof Kellerbier
Monchshof Kellerbier: 6.0 – It’s certainly tasty, but it gives you just enough to feel like it’s holding back from you. I wonder if there’s another beer from their line that just has that extra oomph behind it.
Price Average: Monchshof Kellerbier $4
Sauza Silver Tequila 750mL
Well in continuing our coverage of the lower shelves, we this time hit up the silver version of Sauza. We’ve previously had the gold and while that was not a great tequila it was certainly better than what we have here.
Trillium Big Sprang Kolsch Inspired Ale
Trillium Big Sprang: 2.5 – This is just way too hoppy for a kolsch. This is what an IPA beer geek would enjoy because they think they are ‘branching out’ from their shitty beer taste.
Price Average: Trillium Big Sprang $12
