Efes Pilsner: 1.5 – What taste that has is just not good. I could say more, but this beer doesn’t deserve thought – just skip.

Duvel Belgian Golden Ale: 6.0 – Poor slowly when you do this because this is a seriously bottle conditioned head-y beer. However I love the lingering aftertaste from this beer – it’s kinda like what brewers try to pass off as nuts and bananas. For the record we are now more than 1/4 of the way done and this is the highest so far (just barely beat last week’s Dos Equis)
Price $4 (375mL bottle, which is not pictured above)

Dos Equis Amber: 5.5 – So I’m not a terribly huge fan of the Dos Equis (which that even had a on-draft boost). While I don’t care for the lager, the amber has enough taste and easy drink-ability to earn itself a solid score, and be the first to break 5.0 in the challenge.

Red Stripe Jamaican Style Lager: 4.0 – While this very clearly (by name and a lawsuit) is not a Jamaican lager – what they’ve done to try and convince you it is has at least resulted in a subpar but not awful taste.
Price $7.50 for 6-Pack

Budweiser Lager: 3.0 – Bit of confession I have actually never had normal Bud before because of having to once drink Bud light, and some bar back horror stories. However it isn’t downright terrible, but it’s still subpar.

Peroni Nastro Azzurro: 2.0 – I finally found it, this beer was actually my first beer I’d ever had while studying abroad at a pizza place. I hated it then and it nearly ruined beer for me until I tried Guiness months later. Objectively though (not easy) it’s like a more bitter Heineken so at least it has a taste.

Tiger Lager: 4.0 – It’s fairly standard as beers go if just a little subpar. It’s likely a symptom of globalization that a beer made in Saigon but licensed to brew in the UK tastes like any average beer.

San Miguel Premium Lager: 4.5 – While not awful it is what it is – an overall subpar beer

Fuller’s London Pride: 5.0 – Take note I did have this at a normal cool temperature not a slightly warm UK temp this is because I’ve had both and let’s just say that I try to be objective and not actively seek out ways to make beers lose points. This when chilled is a proper average beer.

Corona Extra: 1.0 – If you told me this was simply chilled piss from someone who was drunk – I’d believe you. This tastes awful, and there’s a damn good reason the ads, and serving of this includes actual fruit to counteract it.
