With that much history, it does lend itself to the concept of whether we can truly judge such a thing. Well we might have only been around for less than a decade (bajeezus not by much though) but yes – yes we can judge them, and we say nay.
One of the main benefits of moving whiskey to every other Wednesday is the ability to review more brandies and cognacs as we integrate them more into the site’s lexicon. The cognac we have here is as such a fine addition with some good and some bad points, and some grapey points?
Time once again for some more cognac with another VS from Martell. They have some typical pomp and circumstance (it’s always a snore when the words ‘great cognac houses’ enters the verbiage), but it’s thankfully backed up by something of substance.
Yes fret not we have not forgotten our claim to actually get onto some cognac reviews, and because of a certain aspect of this we can assure you that soon the decanter of cognac in the Buffalo lounge will soon be depleted and require another victim spirit. (No word on the other 21 decanters, because yes the Buffalo does have a problem)

Yes despite the debacle that was us trying to break into things we don’t typically review with our brandy reviews of the VSOP and XO – it’s high time we start including brandies and congnacs into our spirits rosters. And despite E&J garnering the most views on a single review – lets do something a bit higher on the shelf.
