If this is what Finland has to offer, than I think they should stick to memes of being invulnerable to cold. While there might be other Finnish vodkas that are good, this is down right terrible in nearly every way. It may actually be in the bottom 3 of our scoring system.

Boru Vodka 750mL
We recently had a vodka from Russia – but this time instead let’s choose one from a more unorthodox location. Ireland. Also this is distilled from grain for those wondering if this was a potato vodka (that’s bigotry). Anyway as you know we tend to mix up St Patrick’s Day and Cinco de Mayo – so hey close enough.
ZYR Ultra Smooth Imported Russian Vodka 750mL
Well then folks continuing our recent trend of “Buffalo reviewing more clear spirits because for a long time this was scotch and bourbon reviews” it’s time for another vodka. I’ve decided to get something a bit more pricey and imported in the hopes that it would be spectacular. But as you can likely tell by my tone, that was not the case.
Balinoff Vodka 750mL
This vodka angers me, and if you want to know why it’s because this vodka is basically France making a lie. And there are two things I hate: liars, and light beer – which is water that’s lying about being beer. No I’m not saying that France can’t make a good vodka – hell with all the brandy and sacred water they go on about – it should work out fine.
Polar Ice Vodka 750mL
So we’ve always discussed how proximity to Russia for vodka can often be a nice indicator of quality. This is why Ukrainian vodka can be better than Polish (most of the time). However there’s always one thing we ignore in this ruling – what if proximity to Russia can work the other way. While there’s no Alaska vodka in stores that I can find, I did find this vodka from Canada.
Tsarsky Pokrov Vodka 750mL
I’ve never had vodka from Lithuania, but following the rules that the closer it is to Russia, this should be better than some of the Polish vodkas I’ve had. Taking it straight though is a different matter, because this is yet again another budget vodka review.
Dutchcraft Vodka 750mL
The last time we had a vodka from Holland it was well – not well received. This was most likely because it was gimmicky, it tasted and smelled awful, it was over-priced, and it was the definition of Eurotrash. The good news I bring today as a close to this year is that Dutchcraft is awesome. (But is not Minecraft)
Ciroc Vodka 750mL
Okay then let’s finish strong with these recent vodka reviews. I mean Ciroc must be good, I hear about it all the time in that rap music I listen too. (Note this is a joke, the only rap I like is Aesop Rock, and while he might be talking about Ciroc my mind can’t understand anyway)
Kamchatka Vodka 750mL
Okay let’s go back to vodka then considering how that rum went. Oh no, it’s another bottom basement shelf review vodka. Ladies and gents – if you are paying 8 bucks for a bottle of a base spirit – I’m sorry but in no way is that possibly a deal – the bottle and shipping is like 8 bucks even in bulk.
Mr. Boston Vodka 750mL
If you’ve never heard or seen of Mr. Boston vodka – I ask that next time you go to a package store to look at the very bottom shelf, and most likely stuffed under the shelf on the floor is Mr. Boston – and it seems for good reason.
