Drookit Scotch Ale: 7.5 – It’s as complex as any Belgian Quad even giving that bit of banana and meaty taste. It’s overall though just a great tasting beer.

Gold Strike Ale: 6.5 – This is a really good ale. I quite like it. Once again (as evidenced by the Berkshire tag) they manage to deliver a very good tasting ale (with some fruit/meat flavors in this) that comes at a value price.

River Guide American Wheat Ale: 6.5 – Once again Berkshire delivers a solidly good ale for a damn good price in big bottle. The nuttiness and the wheat here are great, and if I’m honest Berkshire is one of those companies that I want to just keep making more and more beers.
Price Average: Name $5
Shabadoo: 5.0 – It’s a black and tan combo that actually tastes quite good. Sadly it’s a black and tan combo meaning the blend of the beers affects the layering. Also while this was freshly opened the beer felt flat unlike a fresh black and tan would.
Price Average: Shabadoo $5
Drayman’s Porter: 7.0 – While I can truly enjoy a very complex, or heavy, or even a truly coffee porter, it’s great when someone just makes a good porter. In truth this overall is closer to a 5, but the aftertaste is very enjoyable, and at the Berkshire cost it’s always the beer that makes even me have to truly decide over something new, and something good at a better price point.
Price Average: Drayman’s Porter $6
Imperial Steel Rail: 6.0 – A more booze-y Steel Rail? Sure. While it maintains the same level of easy drinking – the potency here isn’t limited to the ABV. The flavor and taste have a much more weighty feel to them. I think at the end of the day I’d rather have the standard though…
Price Average: Imperial Steel Rail $8
Russian Imperial Stout: 6.0 – It’s a bit more like a bourbon aged stout based on the sweetness, and it does lack the impact of heavyness you would expect. It is still delicious though so good marks.
Price Average: Russian Imperial Stout $6
Hoosac Tunnel Amber Ale: 6.0 – It’s certainly a unique tasting amber ale, and as usual with Berkshire the price is right. It just feels like a weak amber ale that lacks a gravitas to make the taste more desirable.
Google Shop Average: Hoosac Tunnel Amber Ale $5
Busker: 7.25 – It’s really quite distinctive here, and is really tasty, the czech style adds a lot.
Google Shop Average: Busker $5
Long Daze: 6.0 – Another solid beer from bbc, especially for their budget price.
Google Shop Average: Long Daze $5
