Kronenbourg 1664 Biere: 4.5 – It’s a bit sweet to go with its mild flavor. It makes it easy to drink, but you wish it was something else.

Petrus Oud Bruin: 7.5 – That’s a very complex beer – it says it’s sort of a blend making it a red-brown ale, and you get that. The red brings some fruit and sourness, but where that would be kinda awful this tempers it by being two-thirds brown ale.
Price Average: Petrus Oud Bruin $10

Well I recently found myself in the UK, paying a visit before the country went tits up in the Brexit. I paid a visit to Soho for some sushi, papercraft kits, and some Japanese whisky. I had tried a version of Hakushu once in a restaurant, but I had not heard of the distiller’s reserve (this might be because at this time I can’t find it in the states) but I figured I’d give it a try.
Cobra: 6.0 – This gets to be above average because for being an Indian beer – I wish that I had this at my most recent curry dinner (sadly I had a weak slightly too bitter beer which did nothing to help wash the heat down). It overall is fairly standard, but compared to others on this poster – quite good.

Allagash Sixteen Counties: 7.0 – That is a delicious beer. I have long been a fan of beers from Maine (including Allagash) and this is no different. It has complexities and a sort of layers of flavor between the hops/wheat/
Price Average: Allagash Sixteen Counties $9

I bought this gin because there was a skeleton key on it, and based on it’s shape and little booklet I figured it would be a good martini gin. In that respect it is partially true, but alas the tale of this gin is summed up perfectly by the same key on it’s front. (not a real key, flat backing with glue on the back and low-grade material)
Hoegaarden: 5.5 – You know that I a pretty on par White Ale, I’ve always avoided this because of the company it often keeps – but now I know if I’m stranded in some god forsaken bar filled with Bud and Miller – I can likely get a serviceable White Ale.

Maibock Hurts Like Helles: 5.0 – That’s an okay, nice tasting, and sweet tasting beer. However while it’s price is good here for the bottle – I have had this before on draft and it’s near 2 points better.
Price Average: Maibock Hurts Like Helles $5
