That aside this Saigon Ale is about average in terms of taste, and its low score really reflects value and manliness. They don’t say anything, even the Vietnamese is just information on packaging.
Taste: 5 – Just medium in terms of taste.
Aftertaste: 6.36 – Nice rice aftertaste.
Aroma: 3.17 – No real distinct smell, it just doesn’t really have a smell too it.
Manliness: 3.5 – No real text, and the champagne foil look. One of us described it as the iPhone knock off of beer. Nationalism may have influenced this score in the positive direction – though just slightly.
