If you recall I mentioned a story in my Seagram’s review about my first real experience with gin, and that Seagrams, Black Watch, and Gilbey’s were really – terrible gins, but because I had so much of them, I eventually broke through my general dislike of gin, and now fully appreciate a good gin spirit.

Samuel Adams Boston Brick Red
Boston Brick Red: 5.0 – Just a little too average of a beer. Kind of sad really since you know Sam can sometimes make really good beers.
Google Shop Average: Boston Brick Red $4

Avery The Czar Imperial Russian Imperial Stout
Avery The Czar: 7.0 – Really good, and there’s a lot of power behind it (apparently also in AbV) Good amount of chocolate flavor as well.
Google Shop Average: Avery The Czar $9

El Zarco Silver Tequila 750mL
Another Silver tequila that I’ve picked up in lieu of a party (why my friend can’t handle other tequilas is beyond me). This one is a bit interesting because it’s a much more value price. It also is not sickengly sweet or downright awful – in fact the only real complaint about this is the Eurotrash look and feel.
North Coast Brewing Company La Merle Saison
La Merle Saison: 6.5 – Apparently this is named after a bird according to hipster bar person. Some citrus and fruity flavoring, and an overall tasty saison.
Google Shop Average: La Merle Saison $8

Wicked Pissa SPF 0
Wicked Pissa SPF 0: 6.5 – A really good golden ale with a lot of flavor.
Google Shop Average: Wicked Pissa SPF 0 $7

Balinoff Vodka 750mL
This vodka angers me, and if you want to know why it’s because this vodka is basically France making a lie. And there are two things I hate: liars, and light beer – which is water that’s lying about being beer. No I’m not saying that France can’t make a good vodka – hell with all the brandy and sacred water they go on about – it should work out fine.
