Warning: If you see this text via search result this is a DO NOT BUY alert. This is just a mere 0.25 of a score away from tying for the worst spirit on this site (Club Caribe, another rum), and even beats the E&J VS Brandy fiasco. Quite simply – this is a giant turd of a spirit. If this was a ghost it’d be the kind to possess you to stick Twizzlers in your ear.
The only action we can take now that this resides in our bar is to mix it with other rums to make it hopefully somewhat passable as a mixer. This is vile stuff, and the mere smell is enough to act as a good warning to run away from this.

Taste: 4.0 – It starts off a bit like sugar and oranges and would be otherwise passable.
Aftertaste: 1.5 – Then you get layers of flavour. They just happen to all be outright terrible. You are then finally left with the promise that the aroma gave for you.
Burn/Smooth: 3.0 – While it certainly burns, it’s not the main reason you are cringing in anguish and disgust.
Aroma: 1.5 – If Chanel ever released a fragrance called ‘Big Fucken Regret’ it would smell like this. You get a pre-emptive hangover headache from this shit.
Honesty: 0.5 – That text is not the lipstick on the pig, it’s the skittle in a pile of horse shit. Ultimate mixer? Fruity and spices? Fuck you.
Mixability: 1.0
Rum and Coke: 1.0 – We have never had a worse rum and coke. Even other bad rums are at least kind enough to mostly go away in coke.
Value: 3.0 – That is cheap, but shit no is it worth that much. You could be paid 5 dollars and you still have to drink this – aka you lost.

I am a Appleton, and I bought the J. Wray gold and it is terrible. Not near as smooth as the Appleton estate gold rum .No comparison.
You like Captain Morgan so I’m not sure I can take any of your reviews seriously.
