Beck’s Bier
Beck’s: 4.5 – That is a slightly okay beer. Nothing to write home about, but it does the job.

Ommegang Grains of Truth Harvest Ale
Grains of Truth: 7.0 – This is another successful beer from Ommegang with a flavorful harvest ale that has close to the perfect amount of hops you want in a beer like this.
Price Average: Grains of Truth $10 for 4-Pack

Goslings Black Seal Bermuda Black Rum 750mL
Avid fans of Honest Booze Reviews know that the Buffalo had a penchant for Goslings 151 as it was the easiest way to conjure the drunken spirit from the man. While it’s been a long time since such a spirit was allowed in the Buffalo Lounge’s bar we feel it’s ripe to try the little brother.
Carlsberg Lager
Carlsberg Lager: 1.5 – I don’t know what I was expecting with this beer, but it wasn’t this. I really don’t like it though. I can’t objectively give it nothing, but whatever this is – I am not a fan.
Price $7 for 6-Pack

Dogfish Head Miles Davis Bitches Brew
Miles Davis Bitches Brew: 8.0 – This is a combo of honey beer, some roots, and an imperial stout – and I normally give Dogfish some ‘commentary’ on making weird beers just because they can. Not so here – this is a complex flavorful brew that has some real dark weight to it. I can’t complain though because it just tastes so good. (And yes I did mix it with the album)
Price Average: Miles Davis Bitches Brew $14

Laphroaig 15 Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky 750mL
I guess this is now a more Laphroaig return (we had like 7 scotches mostly in a row) starting with Laphroaig recently. This is another gift to the lounge in the form of a 15 year old whisky. While the lounge accepts all gifts, we accept those older than our nieces and nephews happily.
Avery Brewing Eighteen Dry-Hopped Rye Saison
Avery Brewing Eighteen: 7.0 – The sweetness is just a bit off, but that is as far as Rye beers, or Saisons go – quite good. The dry hopping may have contributed to the complexity here, but I must warn you. When you open this do it inside a sink, I used a standard wall opener and the top third ended up on the floor.
Price Average: Avery Brewing Eighteen $10
