First off we typically have 750mL to the point where writing it is habit, and occasionally we get a 1L thrown in. This week (and truly the next few months) will come from Britain so expect some off the wall numbering and selections as we explore spirits that aren’t casual fare in the states. (Gotta support those worldwide readers of this global site)

Crooked Stave ‘Nightmare On Brett’
Crooked Stave ‘Nightmare On Brett’: 4.0 – It’s a dark and tart sour beer that is not really complex enough to warrant how uneasy it is to drink.
Price Average: Name $14

Revelation Cat Brewing The Woodwork Series – American Oak Ale
American Oak Ale: 1.0 – That was downright terrible and undrinkable, and was thrown out. Admittedly this could have merely been skunked, we’ll let a second test see if that’s true.
Price Average: Name $9

Sangre de Vida Anejo Tequila 750mL
Moving on from the uptick of the caliente reposado we head back downhill with an anejo that is really a subpar tequila, but as an anejo is kind of worse? This lacks that critical element of the passion of tequila mellowed through age to become something woody, filled with spice, and smooth as hell.
Port Brewing Anniversary Ale
Port Brewing Anniversary Ale: 3.0 – They say it’s a hop monster, and boy it sure is. While it’s not an IPA as there’s not as much bitter, but it’s terribly hoppy.
Price Average: Name $8

White Birch Barley Wine
White Birch Barley Wine: 4.0 – I feel like this may be flat, but its just mediocre tasting overall. As far as Barley Wine’s go it’s fine I guess?
Price Average: Name $13
