Hello everyone and welcome to yet another cheap but shit tequila. Yes no holding back on our thoughts for after the fold, we want this shit in the Google Search Results to ward you off it. This is actually a 2-parter with the silver this week and the gold next week, and while that’s better we must first start with the swill.

Lunazul Blanco Tequila 750mL
We previously had the Reposado of this last year, and straight away we have to say that while this will not be winning any awards in our books – it’s far and away better than it’s aged cousin. The problem we have here is not that this is too often subpar or worse – it’s that there’s no bright spot here to dazzle you.
Ollitas Blanco Tequila 750mL
Happy Memorial Day everyone, hopefully, you are enjoying the nice weather with some barbeques, some brews, and a nice margarita. Normally this is the bit where we change from something nice into why this sucks – but not this time. That’s because of this publish date this is the best-rated tequila overall on this site.
Sangre de Vida Blanco Tequila 750mL
Alright and so begins the month of tequila reviews from the company of Sangre de Vida. The lounge received a review sampler set among it’s scotch so we’ll be intersplicing it with that before we move onto the United Kingdom content next month. So those familiar with this ‘shape’ will recall our review of Kah Reposado, and it seems there’s a looming underbelly of hatred and lawsuits between the two companies over the fact that a normal person isn’t likely to notice a difference. The problem there being that to a certain degree Kah is much better (oh no, we spoiled a whole month this time)
Casa Noble Blanco Tequila 750mL
So the good news here is that if you want something that looks like Patron, is about as good as Patron, costs slightly less than Patron, but above all is not Patron – you are in luck good patron. (Had to do it) I look forward to trying the aged versions of this because while this itself mellows – I want to see if that powerful tastes carries on despite aging.
Sauza Silver Tequila 750mL
Well in continuing our coverage of the lower shelves, we this time hit up the silver version of Sauza. We’ve previously had the gold and while that was not a great tequila it was certainly better than what we have here.
El Jimador Silver Tequila 750mL
We are hitting the end of the summer, and thus the end of the Buffalo buying different tequilas to throw into random citrus or tropical mixes. (Recipes of which exist for all of the 3 seconds). The problem with reviewing spirits in this manner is you sort of just accept how standard it is mixed, and try to neglect that should you review it in a context where seven types of fruit juices are not involved it’s likely a bad tequila.
Jose Cuervo Silver Tequila 750mL
It’s been a while since I checked in with a Cuervo, and I’m glad that I did. It’s always good to remind myself why the hell I check myself out, because Cuervo is just awful tequila to drink. Make no mistake it’s not worse than tequila which is bland and terrible – but goddamn does the word pain come up a lot in my thoughts and review.
Margaritaville Silver Tequila 750mL
I think this will be the last of the reasonably priced silver tequilas that we’ve been trying this year. As they keeping having faults that make it really hard to justify not spending a bit more. At least with what we’ve seen with Reposado there is a variance. Here we either get a terrible sweetness mixed with bland flavoring, or the flavor is off to the point of wondering what exactly they are doing to your spirit.
El Zarco Silver Tequila 750mL
Another Silver tequila that I’ve picked up in lieu of a party (why my friend can’t handle other tequilas is beyond me). This one is a bit interesting because it’s a much more value price. It also is not sickengly sweet or downright awful – in fact the only real complaint about this is the Eurotrash look and feel.
