Budweiser Budvar: 2.5 – Well let’s see if this is any better than regular bud. That is better, but still kinda terrible.

Matt’s Burning Rosids: 2.5 – They say burning in reference to the ‘Cherrywood-Smoked’ aspect, but let’s be real this tastes like when you burn milk in a cheese sauce. I do not like this, and as a tribute to a man I feel this is offensive, especially so if they were cremated.
Price Average: Matt’s Burning Rosids $7

Well part 3 of the UK trip – this time I got myself a blended scotch purely because it had the name ‘Claymore’ my personal choice of weapon. Sadly though much like its namesake this has perhaps too much edge, and it’s not good if you put it through your throat and stomach. I also get that a basket-edge single bladed sword can be called Claymore – but c’mon just put a picture of a stupid sword belonging to a Final Fantasy character on the bottle
Maisel’s Weisse: 5.5 – it’s an okay bier but its almost whisper of flavor paired with a bit too much lightness makes it easy to drink. The downside there is that it stops it from being a great beer.
Price Average: Maisel’s Weisse $4

Kingfisher: 4.0 – I sipped this 5 times to try and determine something, anything distinctive. I failed. Among the poster this is average but as a lager….

Tripel Threat: 7.5 – That is actually really delicious. It’s not complex but it is very well balanced for a tripel. That may not seem like high enough praise, but tripels can sometimes get lost into a flavor or aspect that they lose sight of the beer.
Price Average: Name $7
So we come to part 2 of my UK travels, and because I know exactly when reviews go up – I anticipated this posting on July 4th. And while as I write this I may not be in the USA – I am still very much an American. (I have a drawer in my fridge for cheese). Now if you feel that a Mexican tequila isn’t considered American at all – well hello Trump supporter! Also piss off, because I like having Mexicans become part of my country.
Hey folks – so since it’s the summer – one would expect we’d take some time off, and maybe have a few less posts. Nope. Instead every Sunday we’ll have some destination beers (from what’s left of the UK at this point), and finally we’ll have a Beer Camp special. Happy Summer folks, have a beer.
Meantime London Lager: 3.0 – This is just a no good beer. It taste just reminds me of beers from our Poster Challenge. (I know kind of a downer to start with, but hey if the beer is no good – it’s no good)
